Platinum Supercar Hire

Important - How We Handle Our Customer Data

Platinum Supercar Hire LTD will only use your personal information for its intended use - We may share your information within our network of car rental agencies and other companies should we not have the requested or similar vehicles available for hire. We would also like to send you information about our own products and services, by post, telephone, email and SMS. If you agree to being contacted in this way, please accept our terms and conditions or decline should you not wish to proceed.


It is the customers responsibility to read, understand and comply with the terms and conditions outlined below before:

  1. Arranging appointments to view our cars

  2. Paying deposits to secure a vehicle - deposits are strictly non-refundable as per the bookings and cancellation term outlined below


Age and License Restrictions

All prices are based on drivers being aged between 29 and 70. All drivers must have held a full UK or EU licence for a minimum of two years, must have no more than six penalty points on their licence and are subject to approval on completion of the Platinum Supercar Hire LTD agreement and duty of disclosure form. Any convictions for drink or drug driving or, dangerous or careless driving will not be accepted. Drivers must not have been involved in an accident in the past five years and must not have been convicted of motoring offences in categories CU/IN/LC/MS/PC/PL/SP/TS. We have the right to refuse any driver on production of a licence that does not comply with our insurance policy. All hires and cancellations are subject these terms and conditions and it is deemed that you have read and understood them before making a booking.


Booking & Cancellations

Platinum Supercar Hire LTD requires a non-refundable booking fee upon completion and acceptance of the proposal form or agreement of the quotation request form. This is adjusted against the cost of the hire with the balance being paid up to the date of hire. Cancellations prior to the hire date will incur a charge of 100% of the booking fee. Cancellations due to the hirer not meeting the terms and conditions set out here are the responsibility of the hirer. Platinum Supercar Hire LTD assumes no liability unless stated otherwise. Payments with credit card may be subject to a 3% surcharge or 6% for AMEX.


Security Deposit

The security deposit is held:

  1. As a pre-authorisation or payment may be taken

  2. As payments towards any mechanical damage which is not covered by our Insurers, e.g., tyres, wheels, clutch, gearbox, which was sustained during the hire period; excluding normal wear and tear, due to misuse and abuse

  3. As an insurance excess against any accidental damage or loss caused to the vehicle by a third party or the hirer. The hirer is liable for the amount shown as Security Bond and excess

  4. To cover additional charges incurred during hire for excess mileage and, or, petrol reimbursement charges

  5. As payment towards inconvenience caused and losses incurred in relation to police involvement/arrest which results in the car being confiscated or compounded and or being stopped for driving recklessly or dangerously.


The Security Deposit is as per the tariff set for each vehicle. The security deposit can be held against a major credit / debit card and will be refunded immediately after the hire (subject to terms listed) so you do not incur any charges. The security deposit will only ever be held in full when damages are greater than the security deposit or damages to the vehicle result in an insurance claim. Criminal prosecution or involvement of authorities will also result in loss of the security bond. Confiscation/compounding or theft of vehicle will result in increased liability to the value of up to double of the security deposit for the vehicle as outlined on the hire documents. In all other instances the cost of the damage only will be deducted.



Each vehicle is subject to an excess of at least £25,000.00 (inclusive of the security deposit made at the time of hire) in the event of an insurance claim being made or significant damage to the vehicle. Excess waiver policies are available up to £75,000.00 – please ask a member of our team for further information



Platinum Supercar Hire LTD liability is limited to a refund of the hire charge. No consequential loss liability will be covered. Car hire may be rearranged or cancelled if:

  1. The weather is deemed extreme and therefore not suitable for hire by Platinum Supercar Hire LTD; a suitable replacement date will be arranged or your hire refunded in full

  2. There is a mechanical breakdown of the car or we experience any unforeseeable circumstances. If this occurs and it is feasible to offer an alternative car for the hire we will do so. Should no another vehicle be available of a similar type/group of car or if you choose to not have the replacement offered we would either re-arrange the hire for another date or offer a full or partial refund. Platinum Supercar Hire LTD accepts no responsibility or liability for cancellations under these conditions

  3. Platinum Supercar Hire LTD retain the right to refuse hire of our vehicles to any one we deem unsuitable for hire or whom we feel does not fit our criteria for hire or if the hirer’s age or licence details do not comply with our terms as set out herein.


Use of Vehicle

The hirer may use the vehicle for the purpose of their business and for social domestic and pleasure purposes. The vehicles may not be used for any purposes for which they are not expressly designed. Further, the hirer will not use or permit the vehicles to be used for hire, driving tuition, towing, racing or pace-making, or for competing in any rally, or any other form of motor sport, track days, or for any illegal purpose. Allowing a non-insured driver to drive our vehicle will result in the loss of your security bond; Platinum Supercar Hire LTD will also view this as theft of the vehicle and will prosecute without exception in all cases as theft. Credit Hire is defined as the supply of a like-for-like replacement hire vehicle on a credit basis to the not-at fault vehicle owner following a non-fault accident. Credit Hire is strictly forbidden for all vehicles provided by Platinum Supercar Hire LTD.


Overseas Travel

Our cars may never be taken out of mainland UK. Ireland (Eire) is not part of the UK, our cars are also excluded from Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight.



For all hires, Platinum Supercar LTD will provide a set level of fuel and the vehicle must be returned with at least an equal volume. If the vehicle is returned without the minimum volume, the hirer will be charged for the fuel replacement costs at the pump price, plus a £25 administration charge.


Mileage Allowance / Excess Mileage and Late Return Charges: 

The mileage allowance is 100 miles per day to utilise over hire period (unless stated otherwise - e.g. mileage increases at cumulative rate depending on the number of total number of days). Excess mileage is as per the current Tariff. Returning the car late will incur a cost of £50 per half hour and anything over 2 hours late will be charged at the full day rate. However, if Platinum Supercar Hire LTD are informed in advance, a daily rate may not be charged if the car is not due out on hire the day of return – this will be at Platinum Supercar Hire LTD’s discretion.



Driving licence and National Insurance Number needs to be provided to Platinum Supercar Hire LTD before hire can commence for all named drivers. Also a photo in the form of a Passport and x2 documents (utility bill, credit card statement etc.) which clearly state the hirer or proposers current address (dated within 1 month), along with card/s used for payment. These can be sent by registered mail to our offices, they will be photo copied and returned by registered mail, photocopies are acceptable BUT the originals must be produced before the day of hire, failure to do so would lead to a cancellation of the hire and no refund of any deposits made. If upon delivery, these documents have not been received or viewed by Platinum Supercar Hire LTD the hire will be cancelled and our cancellation policy will apply.


Damage / Wear and Tear 

All damage to our cars whilst in the custody of the hirer however they arise will be the responsibility of the hirer and Platinum Supercar Hire LTD will charge for the cost of the repairs against the Security Bond held against the hire up to the value of the security bond. If requested Platinum Supercar Hire LTD will provide a quotation for the works from a repair specialist. Any excess wear to the car’s tyres will be charged at a pro rata rate for the cost of replacing the tyres, Platinum Supercar Hire LTD will provide details of these charges should they apply. These charges also extend to unreasonable wear and tear on any other part of the car. Vehicles are only fully inspected once returned to our premises, this is due to dirty vehicles / bad light which hamper a full inspection at the client’s address, any damage discovered once we have cleaned the vehicle will then be charged, Platinum Supercar Hire LTD are not limited to noting the damage at the time of pickup of the vehicle for the reasons set out in this clause.


Smoking Policy 

Smoking in our cars is expressly forbidden and will result in the loss of your Security Deposit. Platinum Supercar Hire LTD may use a machine to determine if the car has been smoked in, smoking in the car with the window wound down will still show on our machine and will result in the loss of your Security Bond.



The driver / hirer of the vehicle hereby agrees that he or she shall be liable for all speeding fines and or parking tickets or any other costs or penalties that may be incurred whilst the car is in the possession of the hirer or in relation to the manner in which the hirer / driver has driven the car during the hire period. An administration fee of £25 will apply if Platinum Supercar Hire LTD settle the parking ticket / fine on driver / hirer’s behalf.


Private Property

Platinum Supercar Hire LTD shall not be liable for loss or damage to any property of the hirer or any other person, which may have been in or on the vehicle before, during or after its return to Platinum Supercar Hire LTD. If a personal vehicle belonging to the hirer or any other interested party is left at Platinum Supercar Hire LTD’s Head Office (33-35 A&H House, Dudley Road, Wolverhampton, WV2 3BP) for the duration of hire; Platinum Supercar Hire LTD will not be liable for any damage and the vehicle is left at the owners risk.



Any bookings impacted by COVID-19 will have one of two options:

  1. Full refund of any money paid towards the hire.

  2. Free change of date for the hire (subject to availability); in the event that the vehicle or a suitable alternative is not available, a full refund will be offered

If a customer tests positive for the virus, a positive PCR test will be required in order to validate the refund or change of date. Where the hire is impacted by government guidance (e.g. lockdown), no evidence will be required to validate the refund or change of date.


Driver Requirements

All drivers must:

  1. Be between the ages of 29 (Lamborghini's & Ferraris are subject to a minimum driver age of 30+) and 70 

  2. Have held a full and relevant UK driving licence for a minimum of two years.

  3. Have not had any more than one fault accident and / or convictions that have occurred in the past 10 years

  4. Have not been involved in more than two non-fault accident during the past 10 years

  5. Have not been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had our driving licence endorsed or suspended or penalty points imposed. Parking and not more than a combination of two offences not exceeding six penalty points in total in the past three years may be ignored.

  6. Must not have a criminal record that relates to automobile crime (e.g. theft)

  7. Be British citizens


Within 5 days of the hire, please be prepared to share the below:

  1. Driving Licence – front and back

  2. DVLA licence check code -

  3. x2 Proof of address (e.g. utility bills or government issued letters) dated within the last 1 month

  4. A valid UK Passport

  5. A valid debit/credit card

  6. Proof of earnings

  7. Confirmation of home ownership
